Summer is almost here, and that means that the temperatures will be rising and your furbabies will be needing a cold treat every now and then. So, we have been working in the kitchen and came up with some great recipes for that very things. Put all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend up until it's a nice creamy texture, put in a freezer safe dish, then freeze for 4 hours, or overnight. Each recipe makes about 1 cup of ice cream, which is about 4 servings. for each pup, depending on your furbabies size. We used full fat plain green yogurt, but you can make it with non-fat yogurt.
Berry Cheesecake Ice Cream
⅓ C plain Greek yogurt
2 oz. cream cheese
½ medium banana
½ C Berries (Blueberries or Strawberries)
Peanut Butter/Carob Ice Cream
⅓ C plain Greek yogurt
½ medium banana
½ C peanut butter
2 Tbsp. carob powder
Apple Pie Ice Cream
⅓ Cc plain Greek yogurt
½ medium banana
½ apple sauce
1 tsp cinnamon
